Every footprint on this map is real. The building outlines are surveyed polygons checked
against aerial imagery and Walton County's own GIS records for the parcel, drawn at one
pixel per metre, so the distances are true distances. The building numbers are verified
too: each footprint was matched to its county address, then those addresses were fitted to
the numbered map the leasing office hands out on paper. The numbers don't run in address
order, they follow the drive, which is why nobody can work them out from the street.
Buildings 1 through 11 are the three-story garden walk-ups, all an identical footprint.
Buildings 12 and 13 are the four-story elevator mid-rises. The plans split cleanly between
the two: the Ash, Begonia, Cypress and Carnation are garden homes, the Aspen and Boxwood
are mid-rise homes, which is the property's own original naming. Unit numbers, rates and
availability come live from their listing feed. How the homes divide within each floor is
modelled from the real unit numbers, because no public roster exists and the county's own
record card contradicts itself on the count.
